Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2019 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

This Châteauneuf-du-Pape-based company has been brilliantly taken over by Samuel Montgermont and the Picard family. Relying on its own vineyards (including 12 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape) and partnerships with some thirty winemakers, it makes wines that are full-bodied, fleshy and expressive, all highly representative of their respective appellations.

Guide Hachette des vins

Guide Hachette des vins

Domaine noté (guide 2020) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the domain :

Les Grandes Serres? A Castelpapale wine merchant founded in 1977 by Camille Serres and taken over in 2001 by Michel Picard, an investor in many wine regions - as far afield as Ontario. It offers a wide range of wines from the southern Rhône Valley (and also Provence), often featured on these pages.
