"A 'Pommardian' thought accompanies the tasting."
"Its intense aroma is dominated by notes of juicy cherry and even chocolate. Sensual and smooth, it has a beautiful fruitiness thanks to the ripe grapes used in its production, which give it mature, refined tannins." (RVF magazine no. 674 - October 2023)

A smooth, elegant attack, with a fresh structure and subtle, well-integrated tannins. Aromatic persistence with a mid-palate of undergrowth and complex mineral notes. The finish is beautifully sweet, perfectly balanced with the freshness and fine texture of the raw material.

Decanter
Wine rated (2023 guide) 93/100
About wine:
Dark in color, with an expressive nose of black fruits. Full-bodied, powerful, and concentrated, the tannins are big, bold, and muscular, and will need time to mellow. But this wine will be good when it is ready, in a decidedly massive and intense style for the vintage.

About wine:
Aroma of cherry, mocha, and leather. Red fruit, sweet spices, and tobacco. Very pronounced tannins at present, but the fruit is vibrant and shows good intensity. Should age nicely.

About wine:
The Châteauneuf Du Pape Vendange 2021 (80% Grenache and the rest equal parts Syrah and Mourvèdre) is charming, with ripe red and blue fruits as well as peppery garrigue and subtle Provençal notes. Ripe, medium-bodied to full-bodied, beautifully textured on the palate with supple tannins, it will shine right from the start.
