Robert Parker
"A blend of several of Xavier's favorite vintages, Châteauneuf du Pape X XII XV is a massive, thick, unctuous beauty almost overflowing with notes of black fruits, blackberries, truffle, chocolate and crushed stone. You almost need a fork to drink this still-young cuvée, but boy, what a wine! It remains lively and fresh, with well-built tannins, a stacked mouthfeel and a great finish. It will take between 5 and 7 years for its youth to disappear and it will have two decades of longevity." (Wine Advocate 2016 - Jeb Dunnuck) Exceptional!

Delicious, but no better than the cuvée anonyme. Try again in a year's time.
