Coteaux Pont du Gard
L'IGP Coteaux du Pont du Gard was created in 2010, with the aim of uniting around a common identity. Not only has the PGI become imbued with Rhone wine culture, it has also enabled the geographical area to be extended to include 5 wines from neighboring countries.

The Coteaux du Pont du Gard vineyards are located in Languedoc, the Occitan region of southern France. It stretches from the Mediterranean to the Ardèche, linking Languedoc and Provence. This label testifies to the region's strong production potential, as well as its outstanding heritage. The Pont du Gard, from which the vineyard takes its name, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Water is also a defining element of the Coteaux du Pont du Gard, particularly at Vergèze, influencing the viticultural territories and impacting the aromatic profile and balance of the grapes. The soils are diverse: coarse-grained yellow limestone, known as Pont du Gard stone; white limestone from the garrigue plateaus, as well as blond limestone from Uzès; and pebbly soils along the Rhône. A dry, strict, sunny Mediterranean climate produces powerful, complex wines with elegance. But this climate is dominated by the powerful mistral wind, alternating with episodes of sea breeze responsible for the violent autumn rains.

Excellent conditions for ripening and adapting grape varieties produce wines with a Mediterranean character. Red wines are powerful and warm, with fruity aromas. White wines and fine, elegant rosés are full-bodied and fruity, generally vinified to be drunk young.

"Pure pleasure

This fresh, tangy cuvée is based on a well-executed blend of Picpoul and Muscat à petits grains. Dry, delicate and airy, it is carried away in a tonic mouth, with aromas of flowers and white fruits. Bright and fruity, perfect as an aperitif, served well chilled!
