James Suckling
"Perfect for an aperitif.
"Lots of candied lemons, white peaches and fresh almonds. The medium-bodied, very harmonious palate is lively and brilliant, less creamy than many wines of this appellation, but refreshing and very well balanced on the finish. A blend of Grenache blanc with Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Clairette. Drink now. (James Suckling 2024)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
In his new facilities in the heart of Tain, Jacques Grange has at his disposal sublime, state-of-the-art equipment. He is assisted by Marco Beckmann, an Italian oenologist and wine taster. Future vintages look promising. In Hermitage, the new cuvée from the hilltop Grandes Vignes reveals this little-used terroir.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2023) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Founded in 1835 and owned by Champagne Deutz (Roederer group) since 1977. Under the direction of Fabrice Rosset and his technical director Jacques Grange, the company has 30 hectares of its own vineyards in the northern appellations, supplemented by grape purchases, with the southern range coming from the négociant-éléveur side of the business.

Domaine noté (guide 2023) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Delas has been part of Champagne Deutz since 1977, and is now part of the Louis Roederer group. Priority has been given to vineyards with a high proportion of massal selection plantings. The company has its own vineyards covering 30 hectares, including 10 in Hermitage: 8 at Les Bessards and 2 at L'Ermite. The company completes its range by purchasing musts and grapes. We confess to sometimes being a little circumspect when faced with the overly marked ageing of the most prestigious cuvées, which in our opinion deserve to be worked closer to the fruit and freshness. It should be noted that, as of 2019, the house has a brand-new vinification and reception facility in Tain.
