Our Viognier, a recent cuvée from the estate, will perfectly match the expectations of aficionados of this grape variety! Round and generous, the nose is intense with aromas of white and yellow fruits (nectarines, apricots) and a hint of lemon. The palate is voluptuous and rich, with an enveloping, comforting fatness! A white for every occasion, to be enjoyed chilled!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2019 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Christèle Plantevin loves food and wine. She first had a professional life before returning to Cairanne to take over this family estate dating back to 1902, where the garrigue terroir (red clay in the subsoil and pebbles on the surface) gives power and complexity to her wines. By limiting yields, the richness and typicity of both red and white wines are preserved.

About the domain :
Christèle Plantevin returned to the family estate, founded in 1902, in 1997, after ten years in marketing for major food companies. At the head of 50 ha of vines, she represents the fifth generation.

Lacks a little aromatics but the price wins out for this Viognier.

Lack of balance: too much alcohol masks the flavors.
