Family-owned since 1670, the vines have always been cultivated with the greatest care. Libian. The farmhouse is located in St Marcel d'Ardèche on the right bank of the Rhône, at the very end of the Ardèche gorges. Wine became the main activity in 1970, when Jean-Pierre Thibon built a cellar. Organic viticulture: tillage, hand-picking in spring, copper and sulfur... has always been practiced and is still practiced today. Mas de Libian reached a milestone in 2005 with the official biodynamic certification of the estate. Today, two of the family's daughters run the estate. Mas de LibianHélène and her husband and Catherine, not forgetting their parents and Nestor and Bambi, the handsome Franc Comtois!

The Mas de Libian vineyard now covers 25 hectares, where Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Counoise, Vaccarèse, Viognier, Clairette and Roussanne flourish. The work carried out in the farmers' spirit has produced several wines, 1 white wine, 1 rosé and 4 red wines in AOC Côtes du Rhône, which are highly complementary and enable Libian to live and pass on.

"A Cuvée Plaisir

Revealing superb aromas of red berries, sweet spices and garrigue on the nose, Bout d'zan is full-bodied and fruity on the palate, with finesse and length. Good composition and good company. Enjoy it with a tajine!

This white wine is made from 40% Viognier, 40% Roussanne and 20% Clairette. Part of the Roussanne undergoes 10 days of pellicular maceration, for greater aromatic intensity. This cuvée has a fresh, floral nose with hints of exotic fruit, and a generous, refreshing palate. This Ardèche white is perfect for enjoying with a local goat's cheese.
