In 1905, Julien Martin founded Domaine Martin, which then covered 5 hectares of vines. Today, the vineyard covers almost 72 hectares of clay-limestone and alluvial soil, between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. 62ha in AOC Côtes du Rhône, Plan de dieu, Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau, and vin doux naturel Rasteau, and 10ha in IGP Vaucluse and Méditerranée.

Domaine Martin 's red grape varieties include Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mouvèdre, Marselan and Merlot. White grape varieties include Viognier, Bourboulenc and Grenache Blanc.

Today, this family vineyard remains under the management of the founder's great-grandsons, who are committed to working in an environmentally-friendly way, rewarded by a High Environmental Value certification awarded in 2020.
