Domaine noté (guide 2019) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)

About the domain :

This estate was created by the Wallut family in 1990, when they decided to plant Viognier around their vacation home. The vines are located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, bringing freshness and elegance to the estate's wines. The 13 hectares of small plots are located on southeast-facing, mistral-swept hillsides, on marl and limestone soils. Half of the estate's production is white, almost entirely dedicated to the Viognier grape variety, which, thanks to its altitude, produces delicate, floral wines. The reds are also full-bodied and floral.

About the wine:

Founded in 1992 by Nathalie and Jacques Wallut, a retired businessman, this estate terraces its 13ha of vines between 400 and 600m altitude, on the slopes of Mont Saint-Amant. Fruit, fruit and more fruit for this "wrinkle-free" cuvée, crisp, fresh and persistent, designed for lovers of gourmet wines.
