91/100
Robert Parker
"Even better than the classic Côtes-du-Rhône, the 100% 2012 is almost an instinctive blend, with a little Grenache, a little Syrah, a little Mourvèdre and the rest Carignan, Cinsault.... Aged for 12 months in concrete vats and barrels, it explodes with black raspberry, raspberry, crushed flowers and ample minerality on the nose. Followed by a full-bodied palate, the concentration is beautiful and the length structured, balanced and ample. It's another success for this team." (Wine Advocate 2014 - Robert Parker)

Not worth the Parker rating! Good for everyday use, but there you go! No need for superlatives That was my opinion after uncorking the 1st bottle. But the rest was much better. To be tried again. To totally invalidate the 1st opinion

A good little picnic wine. Lacks a little density to be appreciated in other circumstances.

A little reserved in view of some very harsh reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by a wine that is very fruity on the nose and round and powerful on the palate, with no false notes. Fruit (raspberry and black fruit) blends with a hint of spice, well enhanced by the power. If the finish had been more persistent, I'd have given it 5 stars. For this price, I found it very good.
