About the domain :
Gilles Robin doesn't sell to individuals, but his Crozes-Hermitage and Saint Joseph wines are sold in wine shops and restaurants. The vines are well tended, with conversion to organic farming underway. In 2009, a blockage in ripening prevented the harvesting of silky tannins, but the 2010s rediscover the freshness and flesh that are the hallmark of the domaine's style, in a flawless range this year, including on the new, microscopic cuvée d'hermitage.

Domaine Gilles Robin is one of the rising stars of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. His wines are always well-balanced, clean, full-bodied and fleshy, without excessive extraction or ageing. They can be enjoyed young, when the fruit is bursting, although they are sufficiently well-built to stand up to several years of cellaring. For lovers of gourmet yet elegant wines, this is an estate not to be missed.
