"Farge's use of cob (60% in this cuvée) and older oak allows the fiery Syrah to shine. Terroir de Granit Saint Joseph 2016 presents notes of violets, pepper and exotic herbs, all layered with expressive raspberry notes. It's full-bodied, creamy and lush without going over the top - a generous, pleasing wine that reveals length and elegance on the finish." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Robert Parker) A St Joseph of incredible purity!

Too light for my taste for a St Joseph, lacking depth. Young vines when it says "vieilles syrah"?
