This initially closed Saint-Joseph opens up to the air with a rich, mouth-filling expression, where floral and mature notes rub shoulders with spicy freshness: peony, cherry and grape in alcohol, paprika and chocolate, tobacco. The palate is warm, developing its fleshy, gourmand side on a solid texture where the tannins are both robust and weathered. Very fine work!
