Vacqueyras characterized by its smoothness and finesse. Very fruity and velvety on the palate with subtle flavors of vanilla, leather, and spices. Nice length with well-balanced acidity and a hint of pepper. Rated 3.7 and average value for money as competition is fierce in this €15-17 price range (Xavier Vignon, Sang des Cailloux, Duvernay, Perrin, etc.). Best served at 18°C after two hours of aeration with chili con carne, which complements the spicy and animal notes of this cuvée.
