"Pure fruit
"A bigger, richer wine, the 2019 Vacqueyras Ora boasts a deeper purple color as well as an exceptional nose of ripe blackberry and redcurrant intermixed with plenty of garrigue, toasty spice, charcuterie and peppery notes. Medium- to full-bodied, it has a fat, opulent mid-palate with plenty of Provencal charm and will be impressive from the start." (Jeb Dunnuck 2020)

Vacqueyras characterized by a smoothness and finesse of touch. Very fruity and velvety on the palate, with subtle vanilla, leather and spice flavors. Lovely length, with well-balanced acidity and a hint of pepper. Score of 3.7 and average R.Q/P as competition is fierce in this 15/17€ price range (Xavier Vignon, Sang des Cailloux, Duvernay, Perrin...). Drink at 18° after 2 h of aeration with a chili con carné, in keeping with the spicy, animal notes of this cuvée.
