Note du Guide Hachette des Vins : 3***(Exceptional wine) + Coup de Coeur
"This Therapius cuvée, which gives pride of place to Syrah, has an elegant, deep, dense red color tending to black - the harbinger of an intense, complex bouquet combining stewed red and black fruits, vanilla, roasted coffee, sweet spices and violets. The palate is a model of its kind: full-bodied and concentrated, but not heavy, with volume and length, round, perfectly chiselled tannins, just the right amount of oak and intense fruitiness. A wine for laying down, to be enjoyed for at least three to five years". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2013)

About the wine:
Cellar master Sébastien Fraychet had a lucky hand in 2010, a vintage to remember for La Vinsobraise: a "coup de coeur" and a shower of stars for four selected wines. This Therapius cuvée, with its emphasis on Syrah, has an elegant, deep, dense red color tending to black - the harbinger of an intense, complex bouquet that marries stewed red and black fruits, vanilla, roasted coffee, sweet spices and violets. The palate is a model of its kind: full-bodied and concentrated, but not heavy, with volume and length, round, perfectly chiselled tannins, just the right amount of oak and intense fruitiness. A wine for laying down, to be enjoyed for at least three to five years.
