Rated estate (2023 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Recently taken over, this estate covers around 20 hectares and is very modern, both in terms of wine production and marketing, with "inspired" packaging and, above all, a boutique-bistro on the port of Banyuls where visitors can sample the products. Nestled in the heart of the Roume valley, the winery welcomes grapes from seven plots spread across different terroirs within the appellation, allowing for complementary winemaking. While their marketing is very clever, in the vineyard, traditional cultivation methods are preserved, with the vines mainly trained using the gobelet or stake systems.

Rated estate (2023 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

Jacques Piriou and Romuald Peronne—the oenologist—joined forces to buy Dom Saint-Sébastien in 2008, renamed Clos Saint-Sébastien in 2014 after the purchase of Clos Xatard. They made a grand entrance into the Guide with their Collioure vintages. They run a restaurant in Banyuls with a terrace facing the port, Le Jardin de Saint-Sébastien, and offer boat trips to discover their 20 hectares of terraced vineyards from the sea. Their wine list features exclusively Collioure and Banyuls wines.
