" Favorite 1J1V "

This 100% Carignan is a pure delicacy, intensely fruity (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant), spicy, suave and juicy, while retaining its length. A wine in the image of Fernand Vaquer, pioneering winemaker and French rugby champion in 1921 with USAP, to whom this cuvée pays homage.

Wine rated (guide 2024) 88-89/100

About the wine:

A dark 100% Carignan with licorice, garrigue and pepper notes. Initially sanguine on the palate, then quite full-bodied, but fair and dynamic. Should age well. More of an autumn or winter wine, to be served with chewy dishes (La RVF n°682, July-August 2024).
