"A friendly, fresh and mineral white".
"On the schistose terraces of the Côte Vermeille, Macabeu makes its place among Grenache. This is the source of a pale white with silvery reflections, open to scents of honey, grapefruit and exotic fruit, carried by a beautiful mineral and lemony mouthfeel." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

A friendly, sharp Roussillon that harmoniously combines discreet aromatics and prominent acidity, typical of Macabeu. The attack is frank and dynamic, with a mouthwatering mid-palate, conquered by juicy, invigorating flesh reminiscent of citron, on a chalky base and charming saline notes. Stretching finish with a lovely sensation of slightly astringent tension. Offered at a very, very reasonable price, this Blanc de partage et de convialité will be at home with a wide spectrum of dishes, from aperitifs to paella and goat's cheese formages. For now, we've uncorked it for a simple aperitif with friends, with anchoiade and tapenade spread on farmhouse bread. As soon as the weather turns warm, it will work wonders with the fatty flesh of Mediterranean sardines marinated in salt or mackerel grilled in bbq. Score = 3.9.
