About wine:

Aged for over twenty years in wood, this amber-colored wine has taken on an aged appearance with golden brown and coffee-colored highlights, a far cry from its original white color. On the nose, as one judge wrote, "it's frankly rancio"! It's true that walnuts and dried fruit are immediately apparent on first sniff. Less marked by rancio, the palate evokes cocoa, enhanced by a soft toasted note. The volume is very respectable and the finish on dried fruit is very pleasant.

About the estate:

Acquired in 1992 by the Bertrand family, this 50-hectare estate, nestled in the hills of Castelnou, proudly displays its superb, well-restored 13th-century buildings. The vineyard has been certified organic since 2013.
