3*Coup de Coeur

Hachette Bières

"The color of this Hefeweizen is particularly milky, and its white, creamy head is especially appealing. Its nose is fragrant with honey, cloves, and citrus, with a hint of banana, typical of Hefeweizens, and a distinct fermented character. The attack on the palate is lively, with tiny bubbles bursting like fireworks and a creamy texture. Beneath the creaminess, citrus and banana flavors mingle with notes of cereal and fresh bread. The herbal bitterness is subtle. Slightly rough and dry, this beer has a slightly toasted almond aroma on the finish. A beautiful wheat beer made with Savoyard yeast. (Le Guide Hachette des Bières)

About the estate:

Brice Leguennec and Pierre François Martin are constantly developing their range, with limited-edition brews that you have to be quick to get your hands on! The success of the permanent range has attracted a loyal customer base, always on the lookout for new products. As the two friends have imagination and energy to spare, they embark on projects with their characteristic touch of madness. One such challenge was taken up by the English with an Under Dog IPA, which involved creating an IPA without using the usual hops, and with at least 20% Target hops. Our brewers rose to the challenge by using 60% Target! Their current research focuses on Russian Imperial Stouts, Imperial IPAs, and barrel-aged beers. Keep an eye out for these new releases. All of their labels have changed and are now flashy with colorful landscapes.

Magnificent! It goes down like a dream. The citrus notes are predominant without the clove being too overpowering.
