The nose is perfumed with honey, cloves and citrus fruits, with a hint of banana, typical of Hefeweizen, and a strong fermentary character. On the palate, the attack is lively, the small bubbles burst like fireworks, and the texture is creamy. Beneath the cream, citrus and banana flavors rub shoulders with hints of cereal and fresh bread. The herbaceous bitterness is subtle. A little raspy, a little dry, this beer has aromas of lightly toasted almonds in retro-olfaction. A beautiful wheat beer on Savoyard yeast\". The nose surprises with notes of fruity and floral hops, usually present in the nose of IPAs. On the palate, the effervescence is beautiful, the bubbles burst from all sides with delicacy, the hops are still there on the palate, with aromas of exotic fruits and hints of sauvignon. In the second mouth, the flavors become herbaceous, greener, and the finish is long. Situated at an altitude of 1450 m, in the commune of Valloire, in the heart of the Alps, the Brasserie du Galibier is France's highest-ranking craft brewery. Its beers are brewed exclusively with glacier water, and are carefully crafted from a selection of the finest barley and wheat malts, rare hops and unique yeasts.
At the helm of Brasserie du Galibier, a pure Savoyard creation, are two passionate childhood friends, Brice Leguennec and Pierre-François Martin. Always on the lookout for new ideas, they have set up a laboratory to create experimental beers and expand their range with three beers: Avalanche, Alpine and Matchut. A surprising brewery that will appeal to fans in search of new brewing flavors.
