Crémant de Savoie
Crémant de Savoie joined the Crémant family on September 11, 2015, when it was officially awarded the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée.
This official recognition crowns a long tradition of quality sparkling wine production in the Savoie vineyards.
Most of Savoie's AOC vineyards have developed on the steep slopes that border the valleys. This singularity is complemented by an Alpine genealogy, with altitudes ranging from 250 to 450 m and varying exposure depending on the micro-terroir. 60% of the blend must be made from the Savoyard grape varieties Jacquère and Altesse (of which a minimum of 40% must be Jacquère). The remaining 40% may be made from varieties such as Chasselas, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gamay, etc., with a maximum of 20% black grapes. Aromas The minerality of Savoy terroirs gives Crémant de Savoie a unique, recognizable freshness. Citrus aromas and floral notes from the Alps make up the elegant aromatic framework of Crémant de Savoie. From the aperitif to the meal, Crémant de Savoie is a perfect accompaniment to all moments of conviviality, sharing and gastronomy.
