Domaine Charles Trosset
The vineyards of Domaine Charles Trosset are planted on the favored Mondeuse terroir, worked with excellence by the Trosset brothers. The vines are on average 25 years old. The soils are worked and vinification is carried out on a parcel-by-parcel basis. Domaine Charles Trosset wines are aged from eight to twelve months. The resulting cuvées are marvellous, peppery, spicy, with tightly-knit tannins, while remaining delicate throughout all the cuvées of this magnificent Vin de Savoie appellation wine.

A new vintage, the 2010 was rated: RVF 16.5/20, Bettane & Desseauve 16/20
Confidentiel is a very attractive cuvée in a very limited edition. It represents the Trosset family's expertise in transforming Mondeuse into excellence. Its texture and delicately peppery touch of fruit are a true delight. A must-have!

"Louis Trosset lets nature take its course. The 2011 vintage is dark purple, with a nose of licorice, strawberry and violet, chocolate and prune, of rare complexity. The palate is seductive and powerful, but still closed: we'll have to wait until 2017 to let it blossom. Serve this wine with a rare rib-eye steak". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2013)

Vintage after vintage, we continue to love this complex palette of red fruit and peppery spice aromas, the true signature of Arbin's star Mondeuse grape variety, which expresses itself wonderfully on these small, steep, south-facing plots. An ambassadorial cuvée par excellence that once again reveals the breed of its great terroir!
