"The refinement of Savoie
"Aged in concrete eggs, terracotta jars and foudre, this Chignin Bergeron, made from 50-year-old Roussannes grapes, is remarkable for its finesse and harmony, with aromas of vine peach, apricot and white pepper, supported by fine bitters on the finish." (Le Guide Hachette 2023). In the 15th century, the Dukes of Savoy shared the steepest slopes to cultivate the best local grape varieties. In Chignin, Bergeron has its favorite terroir: the Torméry hillside, renowned for the quality of its wines.

About the wine:
Aged in concrete eggs, terracotta jars and foudre, this Chignin Bergeron, made from 50-year-old Roussanne grapes, is remarkable for its finesse and harmony, with aromas of vine peach, apricot and white pepper, supported by beautiful bitters on the finish.
About the domain :
A young, micro estate created in 2020 by Guillaume Quenard: 2.4 ha in the heart of the Coteau de Torméry, which hasn't been weeded for 10 years, in the process of converting to organic farming, with a strong emphasis on agroforestry.
