Domaine du Coteau de Tormery
Already at the helm of the André and Michel Quenard estate, where he excels, Guillaume Quenard is taking off and showing his style in his very young, micro estate created in 2020.

The 2.4 ha on the Coteau de Tormery are farmed organically, resulting in cuvées that are off the beaten track. Guillaume Quenard is an enthusiast for historical anecdotes, and is keen to highlight the terroir of the Coteau de Tormery and its history in a trilogy of Chignin wines spanning 2,000 years. Chignin Bergeron, Chignin Mondeuse and Chignin orange wine, Guillaume Quenard's stylish cuvées are waiting to be discovered.

A talent to watch!

"The refinement of Savoie

"Aged in concrete eggs, terracotta jars and foudre, this Chignin Bergeron, made from 50-year-old Roussannes grapes, is remarkable for its finesse and harmony, with aromas of vine peach, apricot and white pepper, supported by fine bitters on the finish." (Le Guide Hachette 2023). In the 15th century, the Dukes of Savoy shared the steepest slopes to cultivate the best local grape varieties. In Chignin, Bergeron has its favorite terroir: the Torméry hillside, renowned for the quality of its wines.

"A royal red

Voie Royale 2023, made from Mondeuse grapes, has a beautiful dark purplish-purple color. Aromas of fresh red fruits and spices are present on the nose, with hints of violet and blackcurrant. On the palate, typical Mondeuse, with ripe tannins, amplitude and salinity, underpinned by a fine mineral structure. Enjoy with a good raclette!

"The white man who wanted to grow like a red man!"

Have you ever had a white wine that wanted to be aged like a red wine? Now you do! Introducing Cuvée Opus Orange, an orange wine straight from Savoie by Domaine Guillaume Quenard. Orange wine is a white maceration wine enriched with natural tannins to give subtle aromas, such as the delicious notes of candied fruit, tangerine and yellow fruit. It reveals great minerality and salinity on the finish. A supple, harmonious wine. All that's left is for you to have fun with original food and wine pairings!
