Château de Mérande

Located in the Combe de Savoie, in Arbin, Château de Mérande is the result of several generations of hard work: the Genoux family was already cultivating vines in Les Abymes in the 13th century and moved to Arbin in the 20th century.

The 2000s marked a major change for the estate. 

In 2000, the vineyard expanded with the return to cultivation of the estate's former hillsides. In 2001, the renovated cellars were installed at Château de Mérande, one of the symbols of local history.

Since 2009, the Genoux brothers have been running the Château de Mérande vineyard according to biodynamic principles, in addition to certified organic viticulture.

The 12 hectares that make up this Arbin estate are mainly planted with Mondeuse grapes.
