"Often at the top, this cuvée of Malbec from the estate's three finest plots (red clay and limestone) is aged for twenty-four months in foudre. This ageing gives full rein to the fruit: red fruits and black berries that emerge at first taste, accompanied by a subtle, complex woodiness. In the same vein, the palate combines power and finesse. Its elegance and melted tannins make this a very pleasant bottle to drink". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020) An exceptional Cahors!

Domain rated (2021 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
Well surrounded, Germain Croisille expresses the revival of Cahors, with a modern approach in which the use of new wood has been abandoned. The wines, certified organic, have progressed in finesse, accessibility, depth and terroir expression. Today, the level reached is remarkable, in a fresh and salient style. Superb success this year, everything is good and of unrivalled purity.

About the domain :
The appellation has witnessed the arrival of a new generation of Malbec enthusiasts. Without denying the great Cahors wines of yesteryear, which age unashamedly, the neo-Vignerons Cadurciens handle the grape in such a way that it offers a sensation of exacerbated florality. Germain Croisille, who converted the estate created by his parents, has mastered the technique to the point of producing cuvées of rare subtlety, while remaining true to the canons of causse malbec. The subtle extraction and depth of maturity are the hallmarks of wines that can be drunk now and aged well into the future.
