Aveyron

Aveyron is a landscape of plateaux and hills, where ancient schist and granite soils rub shoulders with red sandstone. Vines cling to the slopes and dry-stone walls. The climate lies at the crossroads of three climatic influences. To the west, there is an oceanic influence, while the southeast is more influenced by the Mediterranean, and the north and east by continental influences. Grape varieties: Reds: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Duras, Fer Servadou, Merlot and Syrah. Whites: Chardonnay and Chenin
