3.7/5See the 21 reviews
Aveyron is a landscape of plateaux and hills, where ancient schist and granite soils rub shoulders with red sandstone. Vines cling to the slopes and dry-stone walls. The climate lies at the crossroads of three climatic influences. The west has an oceanic influence, while the southeast is more influenced by the Mediterranean, and the north and east by continental influences.
Grape varieties: Reds: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Duras, Fer Servadou, Merlot and Syrah.
Whites: Chardonnay and Chenin

Le Pressoir Ambulant (Olivier Jullien) - Aveyron Trescol rouge 2021
IGP Aveyron|Red wine|Organic
2/5 (1 review)
Trescol is the name of this original cuvée, created by Olivier Jullien and his friend Olivier Michel, an organic winegrower in the Tarn region of France. This rare blend of 50% Gamay, 30% Syrah and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon benefits from a unique ageing process in Compeyre's thousand-year-old fleurine cellars. "Fruit, intensity, immediate access, but "not only". Despite its great fluidity, the wine is long, with subtle, deep flavors; strength and freshness in relief." (Olivier Michel)
