Château Peyros

Château Peyros ("stony place" in Gascon) is located in Haut Béarn, in the beautiful southwestern region of France, and its origins date back to the 17th century.

The estate was considered a benchmark in the 1960s, highly recommended by sommeliers and leading Parisian restaurants. In the early 1990s, Château Peyros began to decline due to its aging and lack of an heir; it was thanks to the Lesgourgues family (also owners in Bas Armagnac and Graves) who took over the estate that it regained its reputation.

Château Peyros' 21 hectares enjoy optimal sunshine and are planted on silty-sandy-clay soils.
