Sadie Family - Columella 2017

Sadie Family - Columella 2017

93/100

Robert Parker

"The 2017 Columella opens with powdery notes and black fruit pits, and the same sweetness on the nose. The palate is expressive with an austere peppery edge that is enveloped in sandy tannins and notes of blackberry, black cherry, and black plum. Ethereal, the wine has an extremely complex power and precision that will age for decades. The finish is shy, yet has the depth and breadth of a good wine, lingering with a powdery, firm minerality and tannic grip. What concentration! (Wine Advocate 2019 - Anthony Mueller)
