"Made from a blend of 11 grape varieties from 17 Swartland vineyards, the rave reviews for this cuvée deem it even better than the 2021 vintage!"
"This is a white wine of impressive complexity and richness, the fruit of a blend of 11 grape varieties from 17 Swartland vineyards. Aromas of red fruit, sliced pear, green papaya, flint, grapefruit and hazelnut are all present, followed by a full-bodied palate with a caressing, supple texture. Seamless, it evolves towards spice after a while. Even better than 2021? To be enjoyed after 2025. (James Suckling 2024)

About the wine:
Palladius 2022 is a blend of chenin blanc, grenache blanc, marsanne, roussanne, sémillon blanc and gris, palomino, verdelho, colombard, clairette blanche and viognier from several sites. Eben Sadie says this is the wine he wanted to make. The nose is delicious, with notes of wax resin, linseed oil and orange blossom. The palate is well-balanced, with formidable acidity. Taut, fresh and saline, it has an immense nervousness on the finish that lingers on the palate. Even better than the 2021. 2026-2050
