This graceful dry white with a lively profile has a slightly chalky texture, while the palate offers juicy notes of papaya and peach, with hints of apple blossom and candied pink grapefruit. Salty finish.

Jancis Robinson
Rated wine (guide 2023 ) 17/20
About the wine:
Less savory than the Kaefferkopf, with more citrus fruit but also a tantalizing impression of sour quince. Slightly smoky, as if there were a slight, seductive note of reduction, or perhaps the smoky note of spontaneous fermentation? At first, this wine seems a little softer and rounder, with a less firm texture, but it gradually reveals itself to be dense and complex, while retaining a mouth-watering freshness, with a long, pure citrus aftertaste.

Yves Beck
Wine rated (guide 2023) 93/100
About the wine:
Dense granite soils. The bouquet of this Wineck-Schlossberg reveals pleasant freshness and a touch of ripeness. Fine nuances of lemongrass and flint. The wine combines tension and body. A harmonious Riesling with a crystalline, saline finish. Well equipped for the future.
