"This is not the first sweet wine from the estate to be noticed by our jurors. This one rises to the top. A golden yellow color with amber highlights, a concentrated, powerful, complex nose of candied quince and honey: an announcement of rare richness, which is confirmed on the palate. Density, power, opulence, all point to great substance, without forgetting the hint of freshness, which gives dynamism and length. (Residual sugars: 202 g/l, 50 cl bottles)" (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022). A holiday delight!

About the domain :
In 2006, oenologist Pierre Scharsch bought this old estate (17th century) in the Barr region, restructured the vineyard and began converting the estate to organic farming in 2016. The estate now covers 11 ha.

A little disappointing for a noble grain! Well made but not very complex ... Maybe wait?
