"A confidential cuvée: 800 bottles. The wine has a "dry-tender" balance with toasty notes and yellow fruit aromas. Balanced, it is an ideal companion for the table." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2019 - RVF) A masterful vintage!

Expert opinion

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2020 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

This 7-hectare estate farms most of its vineyards on and near the slopes of the Zinnkoepflé grand cru. Unsurprisingly, gewurztraminers take pride of place at the estate, but in 2015 pinot noirs were also in the spotlight. The 2016s were a success, particularly for gewurzt and riesling. A fine grouping of wines in 2017, with the exception of the gewurzt on the grand cru, too marked by its residual.

Guide Hachette des vins

Guide Hachette des vins

Domaine noté (guide 2020) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the domain :

Originally, a plot of land tended on Sundays by Jean-Marie's grandfather, a potash mine worker. Today, a 7-hectare estate in the heart of the Vallée Noble, 20 km south of Colmar, run since 1988 by Jean-Marie Haag. Fine terroir wines, notably the gewurztraminers born on the Zinnkoepflé grand cru, a majestic hillside sheltered by the Grand and Petit Ballons.

Wine rated (2019 guide) 15/20 + Coup de Coeur (Good wine)

Domaine noté Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list, and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the wine:

A confidential cuvée: 800 bottles. The wine has a dry-tender balance, with toasty notes and yellow fruit aromas. Well-balanced, it is an ideal companion for the table.

About the domain :

Located in Soultzmatt, in the heart of the Vallée Noble, the estate is built around the Zinnkoepflé grand cru. The terroir wines are generally of high quality, with the fullness that characterizes this area south of Colmar.
