Fine yet powerful, the nose reveals a beautiful freshness with musky and white flower notes. This freshness is echoed on the palate with its mineral touch. The bouquet is delicate, with balsamic notes on the finish. A fine entry into the world of wine!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
This 7-hectare estate farms most of its vineyards on and near the slopes of the Zinnkoepflé grand cru. Unsurprisingly, gewurztraminers take pride of place at the estate, but in 2015 pinot noirs were also in the spotlight. The 2016s were a success, particularly for gewurzt and riesling. A fine grouping of wines in 2017, with the exception of the gewurzt on the grand cru, too marked by its residual.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2020) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Originally, a plot of land tended on Sundays by Jean-Marie's grandfather, a potash mine worker. Today, a 7-hectare estate in the heart of the Vallée Noble, 20 km south of Colmar, run since 1988 by Jean-Marie Haag. Fine terroir wines, notably the gewurztraminers born on the Zinnkoepflé grand cru, a majestic hillside sheltered by the Grand and Petit Ballons.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine noté Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list, and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Located in Soultzmatt, in the heart of the Vallée Noble, the estate is built around the Zinnkoepflé grand cru. The terroir wines are generally of high quality, with the fullness that characterizes this area south of Colmar.

Good, but not enough to hold the attention. Relatively short on the palate. Rieslings like this are a dime a dozen.

Good value for money. The Riesling is very fruity, with a pronounced mineral aspect that makes it interesting. A good wine, not incredible but pleasant.
