"[...] From the outset, the bouquet displays grandeur, both in its plurality and subtlety. Graphite nuances combine with morello cherry aromas, followed by a hint of dark berries. On the palate, the wine lives up to the promise of its bouquet. It is dense, deep and carried by compact tannins that offer power and perspective, while acidity confers temperament and uprightness. In the broad context of 2022, this is balancing and structuring". (Yves Beck 2024)

Expert opinion
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
In just a few years, Félix Meyer has built up a solid reputation in Alsace. This is no coincidence: the viticulture is of the highest quality, with carefully controlled yields, and vinification is carried out on fine lees in large tuns. Having joined the family domaine in 1992, Félix has a talent for revealing Katzenthal's granite terroirs. Don't neglect his Gewurztraminer, which shows no heaviness and acquires a crystalline purity, seducing even the detractors of this too-often daubed grape variety. The estate expanded by 3.5 hectares in 2019, and 2021 saw the arrival of organic certification.
