Rated (2019 guide) 92/100 (Outstanding wine)

About the wine:

The 2016 Assemblage is more developed and complex. It's a multi-grape blend of 50% Malbec, 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot with herbaceous and spicy aromas that provide good freshness, a medium-bodied palate with texture, balance and juicy fruit as well as vibrant acidity. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2017.

About the wine:

Fresh, aromatic nose with notes of black berries and Thai basil. Full-bodied, sustained by firm, silky tannins. A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. To be enjoyed in 2020, when the tannins are more mellow.
