"A wine judged phenomenal by the Wine Advocate!

"The Catena Alta Malbec 2019 transported me into the spirit of the 2016, two fresh vintages. It is a blend of grapes from different vineyards that were harvested at different times to ensure optimal natural acidity and moderate alcohol levels. Whole berries are hand-loaded into small-format fermentation tanks and 225-500-liter barrels. The wine is precise, clean, floral and very elegant, a little closed at first. The palate reveals a very fine thread, satiny tannins and lively acidity with hints of blood orange. This is a phenomenal wine". (The Wine Advocate 2022) - Delivered in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery).

Nose of violet, purple plum, redcurrant, nutmeg, lemon zest, walnut and star anise. Medium-bodied, with firm, very fine tannins. Vibrant and energetic. Lots of tension. Long. For drinking or cellaring.
