"Attention, limited quantities

"Produced from grapes sourced from a Chacayes vineyard in the Uco Valley, the 2016 BenMarco Malbec is floral, spicy, aromatic, scintillating and expressive, with great freshness and lots of aromatic herbs, black pepper and flowers. A fine balance between good ripeness and freshness, with very fine tannins. This is a short vintage (the shortest!) with moderate alcohol but good concentration." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Luis Gutiérrez)

About the wine:

Produced from grapes from a Chacayes vineyard in the Uco Valley, the BenMarco 2016 Malbec is floral, spicy, aromatic, scintillating and expressive, with great freshness and lots of aromatic herbs, black pepper and flowers. A fine balance between good ripeness and freshness, with very fine tannins. This is a short vintage (the shortest!) with moderate alcohol but good concentration. 200,000 bottles produced. In recent years, grapes have also been sourced from Altamira.

About the wine:

These Morello cherry aromas can be found again, but it certainly has a more complex set of aromas with notes of bark, asphalt and crème de cassis. Full-bodied, finely acidic, round with good tannic structure and a chewy finish. Drink now.

Very good Malbec, but the value for money is not unbeatable...
