"The stunning nose of black cherries and summer flowers draws you into this ripe, well-structured yet filigree, medium to full-bodied Fleurie. The waves of minerality on the finish, very long and elegant, make this wine really stand out in the context of an appellation whose wines are often just pretty." (James Suckling 2024)

Domaine Anita
Fleurie
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Originally from Bresse, Anita Khunel, after a brilliant career as a road cyclist (she took part in the World Championships in Slovenia in 1996!) decided to return to the family estate that same year. There, she learned the trade of vine and wine before setting up her own winery in 2015: Domaine Anita. Today, the domaine encompasses six appellations: Moulin-à-Vent, Chénas, Morgon, Fleurie, Beaujolais and Beaujolais-villages. Anita Kuhnel is accustomed to a structured style, but each year her wines gain in precision and balance. 2017 is a great success. We're not far off the third star!
