"Equilibre gourmand (Hachette)

"Jean-Marc Laforest farms 7 ha in the Régnié appellation. These forty-year-old vines, planted on a sandy-granite terroir, have produced a beautifully fresh, well-balanced wine. On the nose, notes of black fruit rub shoulders with mineral nuances. The palate reveals a velvety texture, supported by a good tannic structure on the finish. A spontaneously pleasant Regnié that will also age well". (Guide Hachette 2025)

About the wine:

Jean-Marc Laforest farms 7 ha in the Régnié appellation. These forty-year-old vines planted on a sandy-granite terroir have produced a beautifully fresh, well-balanced wine. On the nose, notes of black fruit rub shoulders with mineral nuances. The palate reveals a velvety texture, supported by a good tannic structure on the finish. A spontaneously pleasant regnié that will also age well.

About the domain :

A winemaker like his father and grandfather, Jean-Marc Laforest took the reins in 1973 of an estate that today covers 20 ha. His two sons Thomas and Pierre took over in 2016. The estate produces brouilly, côte-de-brouilly and régnié crus, as well as beaujolais-villages.
