"Equilibre gourmand (Hachette)"

Jean-Marc Laforest cultivates 7 hectares in the Régnié appellation. Forty-year-old vines planted on sandy, granite soil produce a wine with beautiful freshness and a delicious balance. On the nose, notes of black fruit mingle with mineral nuances. On the palate, a velvety texture is revealed, supported by a good tannic structure on the finish. A spontaneously pleasant Régnié, but one that will also age well." (Guide Hachette 2025)

About the estate:

A winemaker like his father and grandfather, Jean-Marc Laforest took over the reins in 1973 of an estate that now covers 20 hectares. His two sons, Thomas and Pierre, took over in 2016. The estate produces Brouilly, Côte-de-Brouilly, and Régnié wines, as well as Beaujolais-Villages.
