"Another fine series of Bordeaux from Maison Despagne, with impeccable consistency in quality. At the top of the bill, this gourmet Bel Air Perponcher, whose aromatic expression is immediately seductive: blackberry, blackcurrant, violet, spicy and toasty scents. These aromas are intensely prolonged by a full, suave, tender palate, supported by velvety tannins and a fine acidity that gives it tone. Already delicious, this Bordeaux will age well. (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019) A success!

About the domain :
Former property of the Perponcher family, who had to flee to Holland after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, acquired in 1990 by the Despagne house. A cru situated on a siliceous-clay plateau overlooking the Dordogne, a must for Bordeaux (in all 3 colors), Bordeaux Supérieur and Entre-deux-Mers.
