Château Bolaire
Château Bolaire is one of the estates owned by Vincent Mulliez, along with Château de Gironville and Château Belle-vue. It is located at "Le Bout de l'Île", in the Paluds de Macau.
The Château Bolaire vineyard extends over 7 hectares of vines that benefit from ideal conditions for viticulture (proximity to the river, natural drainage). Specific to the estate, the grape varieties include a large proportion of Petit Verdot, which also features in the blends.
Château Bolaire wines are aged for 12 to 18 months, depending on the vintage, and offer a highly seductive profile and great length on the palate.

"Set on well-drained sandy soils, Bolaire's vineyards are originally planted with Petit Verdot, which makes up 54% of this wine, accompanied by Merlot (37%) and Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep purple hue, intense fruity nose with hints of black cherry and blackcurrant, lively, powerful attack, melted tannins, still firm on the finish. "Solid as a rock and already harmonious ".
