Château Lescaneaut
A Gironde family home dating back to the XVIIIᵉ century, Château Lescaneaut beautifully overlooks the Dordogne River. Lescaneaut is also and above all the vineyard, the land, and the name of the wines born there. Six generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another to reach Malika, born in Lescaneaut and eldest daughter of François Faytout, who managed the vines until 2001. She and her husband Pascal Boueix took over the reins of Château Lescaneaut in 2002, and have continued to develop a natural, balanced wine that respects the terroir. Some people "live on love and fresh water", but for Pascal and Malika, it's "love and wine"!

The Château Lescaneaut vineyard extends over 8.80 hectares of complementary terroirs on hillsides for Merlot (75%), and on plains for Cabernet Franc (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) on gravelly soils (vein of Graves Lescaneaut). Château Lescaneaut's terroirs provide low Ph levels, a source of freshness for the wines. Lescaneaut has always adopted a sustainable agriculture approach, and converted to organic farming in 2008..

"An ancestral estate of a free-spirited family, Château Lescaneaut produces a naturally authentic wine."

An exceptional vintage to be savored with delicacy for this ruby-red Castillon with notes of tart fruit, raspberry and blackcurrant. The tannic structure is fine and elegant, making it extremely drinkable. Lots of finesse and freshness for this ready-to-drink red.

A very fine opus in a vintage of perfectly ripe grapes. The result is a generous, greedy wine with a lovely tannic structure that will become more refined with age. The freshness that gives it elegance is still there. Jolie Gem bio de Bordeaux à prix plaisir, just for you!
