"Castillon's elite!"

"Purple highlights, great clarity of color and an immediate blast of salinity through fruit like currant. Powerful and concentrated with bright berry flavors, it practically defines the term crisp fruit, then softens to reveal a creamier black cherry purée as it unfolds in the glass. This d'Aiguilhe from Vignobles Comtes von Neipperg is very tasty indeed. Extremely gourmand. "One of the most accomplished cuvées on the Right Bank!

"Thierry Valette has always had a taste for wine. In 2000, he took over this 13-hectare estate in Belvès-de-Castillon (20 km east of Libourne), opting for the demands of biodynamic viticulture. Asteriated limestone predominates at Puy Arnaud. These soils bring a great deal of finesse, freshness and minerality to the grapes, enabling the bouquet to rival that of the "grands terroirs" (floral, spicy, truffle) as it gradually takes shape. Velvety in texture, predominantly Merlot, the grand vin shows great refinement in its tannic length, with well-expressed fruit and a stylish finish of great freshness. This is certainly one of the most accomplished cuvees on the Right Bank. This is one of the most original wines in Bordeaux " (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve).

An exceptional vintage to be savored with delicacy for this ruby-red Castillon with notes of tart fruit, raspberry and blackcurrant. The tannic structure is fine and elegant, making it extremely drinkable. Lots of finesse and freshness for this ready-to-drink red.

A very fine opus in a vintage of perfectly ripe grapes. The result is a generous, greedy wine with a lovely tannic structure that will become more refined with age. The freshness that lends elegance is still present. A lovely organic Bordeaux nugget at an affordable price, just for you!
