"A fruit bomb!"
"Supple, fresh, built on a perfectly ripe material, this Côtes-de-Bourg is already very tasty, and holds great promise for the future. We love its silky structure, juicy fruit, volume, roundness and, more generally, its excellent harmony. A good price-pleasure ratio for this very attractive wine, which will go well with roast poultry". (Guide Hachette des Vins - Edition 2024) - Château Puy d'Amour is the ideal accompaniment to grilled red meat, meat in sauce, or refined cheeses. An ideal red wine, full of charm!

Rated wine (guide 2023) 91/100
About the wine:
This ripe, soft-textured wine is still young. Fruits such as blackberry are very present, giving the wine richness and layers of acidity. It's developing well but needs time. Drink from 2026.

Pzs of sulfur but a lot of alcohol for a wine that lacks finesse

It's very honest, but lacks personality. Makes an excellent organic Bordeaux (and there aren't too many yet.)
