Château La Grande Métairie
The Château La Grande Métairie vineyard, covering some twenty hectares, takes advantage of its particularly privileged location to flourish in the best conditions of sunshine and temperature. The vines of Château La Grande Métairie grow on a soil composed of quaternary alluvium, clay and limestone. Walking through the village of Castelviel, it's easy to see the limestone resurgences around the 12th-century church.
