Château Puygueraud
Château Puygueraud is expanding its vineyard by restructuring and adding new plots. Numerous investments were made in the winery, with the installation of concrete vats for whole-berry vinification and cap punching. This has enabled us to make progress in the definition of the parcels and in the precision of the extraction. Château Puygueraud is produced mainly from Merlot grapes, but also includes some Cabernet, which is quite significant for the appellation, and a hint of Malbec, which adds a peppery touch to the blend.
Château Puygueraud has become the flagship property of the Côtes de Francs and a reference in the revival of this still too little-known appellation.

"Tropical fruit but also white stone fruit, nuanced nose of pear and white flower. Lively with orange and lemon juice and zest on the palate, giving a touch of sweet, tart and bitter, all nicely complex. I like the texture here, sharp but dynamic, taut and concentrated, there ' s a nice precision and good overall structure.
