"A vintage to share
"The sparkling color is an immaculate ruby red. The result of meticulous vinification, the nose is remarkable for its precision and complexity. The resinous notes beautifully underline the black fruit and vanilla aromas. The palate is a model of harmony, which augurs well for the future if we let time do its work". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021) The ideal companion for everyday meals as well as moments with friends!

About the wine:
The sparkling color is an immaculate ruby red. The result of meticulous vinification, the nose is remarkable for its precision and complexity. Resinous notes beautifully underline the aromas of black fruit and vanilla. The palate is a model of harmony, and if time is allowed to do its work, promises the finest of follow-ups.
About the domain :
Long a mixed farming operation, this cru, founded in 1870 by Jean-Michel Chatelier's grandfather, is now dedicated to single vineyards (55 ha), producing Graves-de-Vayres and Bordeaux wines of very consistent quality, offered under several labels.

Domaine noté Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Wine Enthusiast)
About the wine:
Aged for 12 months in wood, this wine is richly dense with solid tannins, blackberry flavors and ripe smoke. The wine is generous and full on the palate, with a structure that will soften very nicely. Drink from 2023.

A unique price/quality ratio for this 100% Merlot wine grown on the left bank of the Dordogne opposite Fronsac, but in a less popular appellation...a wine that deserves to wait a few years to reach its full potential!

Unbeatable value for money. Excellent, full-bodied and smooth. (Beware of poor-quality corks! Problem already encountered on 1 or 2 wines on this site)
