Bettane & Desseauve

Siaurac has long produced excellent Lalande-de-Pomerol wines, and the 2015 vintage is well worth exploring. It has a sensual, fruity bouquet with lots of black cherry and blackcurrant, which nevertheless do not dominate. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins. There are a few layers of new wood that still need to be absorbed, but there is enough fruit to make this happen. The finish shows seductive notes of truffle and white pepper, which bring a beautiful salinity." (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker) Delivery in wooden crates for all orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).

Wine rated (2018 guide) 15,5/20 (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2018 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About wine:

The aromas are fresher than during the en primeur tastings. There is also more energy in the tannins.

About the estate:

Forty hectares of vines are planted in this area of Néac, where Siaurac combines smoothness with well-balanced tannins.

Already very good. If it improves with age as expected, it will be magnificent in a few years.

Already impressed by the 2009 vintage, I can only be satisfied with this well-balanced wine, which is ready to drink.
