Bettane & Desseauve

"Siaurac has long made "nifty" Lalande-de-Pomerol and the 2015 is well worth exploring. It has a sensual, fruity bouquet with plenty of black cherry and cassis that don't take over, however. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine grain of tannin. There are a few layers of new wood that still need to be absorbed, but there's enough fruit to get there. The finish shows seductive notes of truffle and white pepper that bring a nice salinity." (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker) Delivered in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).

Expert opinion

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated (2018 guide) 15.5/20 (Very good wine)

Domaine rated (2018 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the wine:

The aromas are fresher than during the primeur tastings. There's also more energy in the tannins.

About the domain :

40 hectares of vines are planted in this area of Néac, where Siaurac is matched by the enveloping suavity of justly stretched tannin.

already very good. If it improves with age as expected, it will be magnificent in a few years.

Already convinced by the 2009, I can only be satisfied with this vintage, which is well-balanced and ready to drink.
